Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission (or a consequent subpart) has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in PDF and was produced using the Latex or the .doc template of the journal.
  • Every cited resource (corpus, collection, lexicon, software...) is correctly attributed and referenced (URLs, refs); illustration images are used accordingly to their copyrights if not produced by the authors.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

The submitted PDF articles should comply to the journal style recommandations. Templates are avalaible for LaTex and Word (docx). Only PDF files complying to these style recommandations will be considered for reviewing.

Long papers

The maximum submission length is 20 pages, plus any number of pages for references. Papers may be written in French or English, anonymised throughout the article with regard to the authors and/or their institution. 

Ultra-short papers

The maximum submission length is 5 pages, including references. Papers may be written in French or English; anonymization is not required.

Full length papers (up to 20p + any number of pages of references).

Ultra short papers

ISTE OpenScience journals accepts "ultra-short" contributions (5p) presenting a new tool, resource, or research project, reading notes, wokshop notes...
